Whole Health Dental Academy/Whole Health Dentistry 101

Whole Health Dentistry 101

The foundational course for the modern dental team.

Whole Health Dentistry 101 covers the clinical science connecting oral health to whole-body wellness — the questions your patients are already asking, and the answers your dental school never quite got to. Walk away with the knowledge and language to speak to them with real confidence. Designed for your entire team: dentists, hygienists, assistants, and front office. Your Instructor

Dr. Bernice Teplitsky, DDS, FAGD, NMD began her journey in biological, functional dentistry in 2010, traveling across the country to learn how different practices approached comprehensive care. After completing courses through the IAOMT, IABDM, HDA, and many others — plus hours spent shadowing biological dental offices — she pieced together a comprehensive presentation: "this is what you need to know," the one she wished she'd had when she started. The purpose was twofold:

  1. Give dentists interested in comprehensive dentistry a foundation of knowledge and a clear sense of what to learn next.

  2. Help biological offices onboard new staff faster, by giving them the philosophy, concepts, and patient-facing language from day one.

This course was taught as Holistic Dentistry 101 at the Holistic Dental Association for five years before this webinar version was created.

Dr. Teplitsky is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, an Accredited Member and SMART-certified through the IAOMT, a Certified Biological Dentist and PROTECT-certified through the IABDM, and holds a Naturopathic Medical Doctor Board Certification along with a degree in Integrative Biologic Dental Medicine. She is also the past president of the Holistic Dental Association. Her mission is to educate others about research-based care that meaningfully benefits the patients they treat.
